Watermelon Salsa

I had my first taste of Watermelon Salsa at the Lake in August. Oh.my.gosh delicious! You could seriously skip the chips and eat it as a salad. But eat it quick because it gets real watery after a few days.

Emerging Artists

You may have seen the renovation to the former bowling alley at 89th and Metcalf in Overland Park, formerly called King Louie. It is soon going to be home to the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Building which will house the Emerging Artists Program. The Emerging Artists Program serves individuals with special needs who have artist talents. They create their own art work and sell it at local art fairs and in the lobby of our building. Some of their pieces are just amazing and so creative!
