PINK Spoon
I was really inspired by a sermon that we had at church a few weeks ago. Not just because the little sermon favor at the end was a PINK Baskin Robbins spoon, remember I don't even like ice cream, but because of the theme of the message.
It was a very simple reminder about finding your passion in life and finding what makes life sweet. It was a reminder that sometimes we need to stop and taste several flavors before we decide which one is going to be the most beneficial for our lives. We were each given a spoon at the end of church that day as a reminder when we look at it to think about whether or not we've found our sweet spot, found our taste.
Its natural when one finds their sweet spot to get in a good groove and routine but how often do you test other waters and taste other flavors, try new things? With the turning of the season, it's often a timely reminder of how blessed we are and how you can give. So taste a new flavor and see what makes you sweet.

On the Road to Recovery
It's funny to think just last week I spent the entire week in bed on pain meds and recovering from having my fistula port reconstructed. The aneurysm is now gone and I think my arm is a little lighter. It was a quick week and have already been seen by the surgeon and cleared for normal activity, whatever that is! A few pictures to capture the few weeks! (my nephew doggie, Kaspar came to visit AND he got a new woofie from his auntie, before surgery pic, get well wishes, SNAKE that took up residence in my car engine and creaped to the backyard, wine delivery just in time for Memorial Day weekend)
